In addition to Jill's Open Days, our Society holds a number of events during the year, these include: -

Spring
|
Annual General Meeting
Our 2008 AGM was held at 7.45 p.m. on Wednesday 14th May at the Pauline Thaw Centre, Dale Avenue, Hassocks.
Following the meeting there was an illustrated talk by Ray Fox entitled The Arun and its canals |

May
|
On National Mills Weekend (the second weekend in May) many windmills and watermills
throughout the country and across Europe open their doors to visitors. Some mills
are only open on this one weekend.
Special events are held at many of the mills.

Summer
|
Although Jack Windmill is not open to the public, Members of our Society are granted exclusive access to Jack Windmill on
selected days during the Summer.

|
December
|
In early December each year we hold our
Christmas Opening when visitors can look over the mill. Mince pies and refreshments will be on sale along with our full range of souvenirs, which make
excellent gifts!

|
Saturdays
|
Restoration and maintenance work is carried out on virtually every Saturday throughout the year.
